Tell me about the most rewarding part of your job?

There are a few personally rewarding aspects to my current position as I work in such a great area. I’m torn between 2, so I might be greedy and pick them both. One is the intelligence packages I prepare play a crucial part in bringing those cheating the tax system to justice. This in turn eventually helps the government to spend more money on critical resources and is a major objective for HMRC. The second is my skillset is particularly suited to my role and I am able to assist those around me to improve their standards, which in turn increases our area’s reputation. It makes me feel better inside, knowing that I’ve done my bit to help somebody struggling to understand something. Some of the work can be complex and every little tip or demonstration can be very beneficial to increasing knowledge.
