I got feedback that my answers didn't align with the job description. It was comps asked for, is this allowed?

Was on the initial application. It was a behaviour/comp so filled it in to do with the success profiles that match the behaviour. With behaviour based questions, it never states that the job description needs to align.

depending on what you have been asked to do - personal statement/ behaviour statement/ CV - will depend on what you need to provide. If you have any queries relating to a specific Vacancy though you would need to raise directly with the vacancy holder, whose email you can find on the advert.

It was a 250 word behaviour which I believe to based solely on the behaviour profiles and job description shouldn't be taken into account?

This is something you should raise directly with the vacancy holder if you have any concerns.

Okay but can you confirm if that is correct or not as I am unaware if it should be?

The advert will normally tell you the job skills required and behaviours, its difficult to know without seeing the application. You would need to raise this with the vacancy holder.
