I applied for tax specialist programme but failed at the video interview stage and got a job as a compliance caseworker. I don't know if this is OK to accept, but my interest is in the tax specialist programme and l am applying again this year.

Hi, Thanks for your comment. I know it can be really frustrating to not get through. You have done the right thing by applying again this year. It's also good that the video interview stage is no more a part of the process which in my opinion is a welcome change for many. My advice would be to get as much advice and do your research from reliable sources. You being a compliance caseworker will help you at the assessment centre stage as there are lots of skills that you learn when at HMRC. I got the most help from the student room TSP forum. Good luck with your application this year.
