So along side the job related exams, i want to complete ICAEW / ACCA on the side, which requires 3 years of course related experience signed off, as well as passing the exams, would the role be eligible for the 3 years of experience if i were to sit the exams myself?

The Tax Specialist Programme is not accredited, the TSP course however and successful completion of it, is industry recognised with HMRC experts in Tax Compliance training. The course will tackle the most challenging aspects of tax compliance work including resolving tax disputes , leading teams, interacting with senior business figures. You would need to check with the course provider if TSP would satisfy course related experience.
