Be open to learning and don’t underestimate the value of adaptability. Your career won’t always follow a straight line, but each role offers skills and experiences you can carry forward. Build strong relationships, communicate clearly, and always stay curious. Company

What do you like about your job and the company?

I enjoy improving the recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring teams. Seeing the direct impact of system improvements - whether it’s simplifying a workflow, fixing a pain point, or enabling better insights - is genuinely rewarding. I also value the collaboration with colleagues across HR and IT, and the opportunity to shape how we use technology to attract and support talent.

Greatest achievements

I’m most proud of the support I’ve provided to people throughout my career - whether through developing teams, helping colleagues grow in capability and confidence, or improving systems and processes that make their work easier. Contributing to major organisational initiatives and enhancing the candidate experience through our ATS are achievements that reflect both my values and my commitment to positive change.

Work life balance is key for me and having the ability to work on a variety of activities, being able to collaborate with various stakeholder. Work out what matters most to you in regards to a job role or career. It is important to find a job role which you enjoy doing and is fulfilling as this will keep you motivated. Do not underestimate yourself, if there is a course you wish to do, if you want to change careers completely, just go for it, reach out for support and guidance.

Never by shy or afraid to try something new and don't expect opportunities to come to you, they might do, if you're in the right place at the right time but mostly, it's about keeping your eyes open. Taking action on your goals and believing in yourself is important, lets face it, you are your own best friend. Be open and flexible and avoid linear thinking as you can miss opportunities right in front of you. Doing something different to your business as usual is a great way to meet new people, network and learn more about yourself.
