I get to speak to a broad range of colleagues in different parts of HMRC and different specialists. I get to learn of all the interesting things we are working and tap into a vast knowledge bank as I grapple with the big issues and how the collective experience can address them. No day is the same and my job is constantly evolving as the challenges we face are also shifting.
