Hi! Specific advice would really depend on what role you were applying for, however, in general always use info from the advert to construct your application. Match your skills and traits with what the vacancy holder is looking for. Use examples where you have used these skills, and if possible showcase outcomes as well. There is usually an idea of how to apply in the advert, for example, some vacancies specify using the STAR technique, some require a test or presentation. Be sure to look at the Civil Service Success Profiles before completing the application, this will help you to structure it. For more info see our 'https://www.civil-service-careers.gov.uk/hmrc-applying-to-work-at-hmrc/' pages on our careers site. Hope this helps!
